Frequently Asked Questions

What Ad Platforms Does Smart Marketer Support

We currently support Google, Facebook, Bing, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok & Snapchat. This includes search, web, display, video, social media, gmail and more covering roughly 95% of anywhere your clients might be. However we can also integrate with any platform with API access.

How Much Traffic Do We Need To Use Smart Marketer's Audiences?

It’s less about the volume of traffic and more about the volume of converters. Traffic volume is important but ultimately we would like to have 50 to 100 measurable conversions in 30 to 60 days. That can be accomplished in a number of ways if this is not already that case with your business.

How Long Does It Take Before We Can Use Smart Marketer's Audiences?

You can start using Smart Marketer’s Audiences immediately to exclude fraud and bot visitors. Scored audiences typically receive enough traffic to be useful in about 2 weeks. We will keep any eye on all of this for you during the onboarding.

How Are The Audiences Created?

Smart Marketer uses the immense amount of data available through the social web and their related tracking pixels to model the unique patterns of engaged and converting visitors on your website.

This data is used to create, update and continuously train a unique scoring model that identifies the level of potential engagement and likelihood of converting.

Are Your Audiences Privacy Compliant?

Smart Marketer was built as a Privacy by Design solution, using only anonymized and aggregated data. No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of the user is stored by Smart Marketer (including the user’s IP address). All data collected by Smart Marketer is completely anonymous and cannot be traced back to a specific user. Smart Marketer is classified under CCPA as a “Third Party”.

Smart Marketer does not receive or process any “personal information” from any business. It is, therefore, a unique type of third party, who does not at all process “personal information” per the CCPA.

The CCPA does not apply to ‘aggregated’ information as defined in the CCPA. Aggregate consumer information under the CCPA is information that relates to a group or category of consumers, from which individual consumer identities have been removed, that is not linked or reasonably linkable to any consumer or household, including via a device. Organizations are thus free to collect, use, retain, sell and disclose aggregate consumer information.

The Smart Marketer tag may be deployed through Google Tag Manager or directly on a web site and may easily be integrated with any existing privacy management solution your site may use.
