Smart Marketer is an intentionally small Data-As-A-Service (DAAS) marketing agency based in Atlanta.
We’ve been in search and digital marketing for 25 years, with many clients working with us for 15+ years. That kind of longevity doesn’t come from chasing trends—it comes from clarity, discipline, and results that hold up over time.

How We’re Wired
We grew up in the 1980s and 1990s as free-range, latchkey, punk rock kids—before cell phones, before constant supervision, before everything was recorded, connected and standardized.
Early on, we learned something simple: when you follow the well-worn path, you end up exactly where everyone else does. Taking your own path is riskier, but it’s where discovery, growth, adventure and progress happen.
We weren’t into big bands, big brands, or big trends—and never bought into the thinking that said we had to follow them.
We paid attention to the outsiders instead—the rebels inside larger organizations who questioned assumptions, worked independently, and quietly built things that actually worked while others followed the script.
That mindset shaped how we think, how we operate, and how we help clients grow.
